ASHLEY T. ATWATER, PRINCIPAL

As MBB Affiliates’ Principal, Ashley Atwater utilizes her 15 years of commercial real estate experience to not only establish the strategic direction of the company, but to also manage all operations of the firm.  Atwater oversees the day-to-day operations of the property management staff, maintains client relationships, and works closely with the engineering and accounting teams.   She also leads MBB’s business development activities and corporate marketing campaigns.  Previously, Atwater focused on lead generation and business development in the private, institutional and public sectors; investment sales and office leasing at Grubb & Ellis, and property/facility management at a Cushman & Wakefield affiliate, where she managed a diverse portfolio of office, medical office, and light industrial properties.

Atwater is a Consortium for Graduate Study in Management fellowship recipient, a member of CREW DC Chapter, Urban Land Institute (ULI), Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA), African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP) and a Board member of the Marshall B. Bass Children’s Fund, a children’s charitable organization.

 She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wisconsin School of Business.

Ashley was awarded the Emerging Leader Award in 2019 from AAREP-DC and in 2020, was listed as a Woman of Influence by Globest Real Estate Forum in the Property/Facility Management sector.
